It’s been incredible to watch your journey from releasing tracks such as Midnight Love and Digital World to Desire, to now the culmination and full realisation of your sound with the release of Organ. I remember hearing wips of Sensory Division and Lords Prayer a few years ago, so I am so thrilled they got a release. Lead singer Ian Curtis wrote this a few months before committing suicide because his relationship with his wife was in shambles, and due to his crippling epilepsy, touring became difficult and his seizures were so frequent he couldn’t hold his own daughter. Written by Robert Plant after his son died while he was on tour, he didn’t get to say goodbye to his 5 year old. Very sad, incredible songwriting.Īll My Love - Led Zeppelin. Written by a single father who recently lost his wife. A concept where Kendrick is drunk in a hotel room, thinking back to all the mistakes he’s made, and how bad of a person he thinks he is, and that he can’t love himself. About still being in love with an ex, but she’s moved on, this describes the emotions and feeling of emptiness one would feel in this time. ![]()
